Patis and sattals
Another traditional architectural form existed in the town are the Patis and Sattals. These are the public buildings to provide temporary resting and sheltering facilities for the travelers and pil grims who visit the town. Patis which can be found in Panauti are:
- Sorakhutte pati
- Lampati
- Dhwakha falcha pati
- Saraswoti pati
- Karyabinayak pati
- Police pati Triveni
- Ghat sattal etc
